Frequently Asked Questions

Create a free account using Sign In in the header. From there, open the UCAT Training Arcade at Training → UCAT to play practice games, or go to Personal Statement to start drafting your UCAS statement. You need to be signed in to save progress, track streaks, and use your daily free UCAT sessions.

No — the free tier includes:

  • Saving and autosaving your personal statement draft
  • 3 UCAT Arcade game sessions per day
  • The structured statement builder and STARR reflection wizard

Premium unlocks unlimited UCAT practice, Coach Sarah (AI coaching), and live draft feedback. A separate human expert review is available when your statement is nearly ready — see Pricing for details.

Not yet. MedOffer currently focuses on UCAT training and personal statement tools. Dashboard profile tracking, UK medical school requirements, and university matching are on the roadmap — you will see them marked as coming soon on the Dashboard and Pricing pages.

The UCAT Arcade has 12 short mini-games across Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Decision Making, and Situational Judgement — designed for speed and pattern recognition rather than full-length mocks.

Sign in to play, track personal bests, build streaks, earn XP, and appear on the weekly leaderboard. Open UCAT Training to browse all games.

Signed-in free users get 3 completed game sessions per calendar day (UTC). The counter resets at midnight UTC. Need more practice right away? A £4.99 48-hour Arcade pass unlocks unlimited sessions for two days. Premium subscribers and users with an active UCAT coaching package also get unlimited sessions. You can check your remaining plays on the UCAT hub or your Account page.

Optional 1-on-1 UCAT coaching packages (3, 6, or 12 hours) include live sessions with a tutor plus unlimited Arcade access while your package is active. You can also book a free UCAT diagnostic call from the UCAT hub. Coaching is separate from Premium — see Pricing for package options.

All signed-in users can:

  • Draft paragraph-by-paragraph with UCAS character limits
  • Use STARR prompts to structure reflections
  • Autosave drafts so you never lose progress
  • Preview and export your statement

Premium adds Coach Sarah (chat while you write), automated draft feedback, cliché detection, and NHS values coverage checks as you type.

Both plans include the same Premium features. Season Pass is a one-time payment that covers the current application cycle (access until 31 October 2026). Monthly Premium renews each month via Stripe until you cancel. Choose Season Pass if you are applying this cycle; choose monthly if you want shorter-term flexibility.

If you are on monthly Premium, open Account and click "Manage billing & cancel". That opens Stripe's secure customer portal where you can cancel, update your card, or view invoices. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep Premium until then. Season Pass is a one-off payment and does not renew. For billing issues or refunds, contact us via the Contact page.

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption and secure authentication through Clerk. Your account data, statement drafts, and training progress are stored securely and are not sold to third parties. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
